All You Can Eat Buddha

On an extended stay in a slightly shabby Cuban resort, Mike — diabetic and battered ogre — drags his sunburns around in a hallucinated wandering. His obsessive gluttony hypnotizes the other residents, in front of whom he delivers small miracles, before the facility crumbles into a long breakdown. Sacred and fantastic tale of a smileless Buddha, the first narrative feature film of Ian Lagarde unfolds into a conception of “all-inclusive” finally letting the inhibited desires and the appetites arise.
