In the presence of Khavn & Achinette Villamor
Khavn, 2005, Philippines

It is with a certain joy, covered in provocation that Khavn screws up the sacrosanct family. The one in the film, doomed to feed only by eating soil, reveals its true face outside of the three daily meals. In a kind of experimental visual fury, not hesitating to alternate hysterical moments with calm and abstract instants, Khavn stifles the tradition only to extract its most pernicious effects. Drugs, gambling, prostitution… in other words, the evils of contemporary society.
