Your Flesh Your Curse

Kasper Juhl is known for his radical films, exploring the most reprehensible aspects of the human psyche. Author of uncomfortable torture porn, his movies have been oriented towards a cinema of awkwardness and of the damnation resulting of the wounds of the soul and the flesh. With “Your Flesh Your Curse”, Juhl produces a non-linear narrative tale and confirms his ability to film the un-filmable. We follow the wanderings of young Juliette, a traumatized victim of her father’s sexual assaults, seeking to destroy herself in order to forget. This way out turns into an infernal spiral and sinks into a nightmare of a dead end.
